Ingredients:

  • 1 sheet of phyllo pastry
  • 1 medium apple, peeled and sliced
  • 50g of granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 25g of melted butter
  • 30g of raisins

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Oven
  • Baking tray
  • Mixing bowl
  • Knife
  • Rolling pin

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced apple, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and raisins, mixing well until the apples are coated.
  • Lay the phyllo pastry sheet on a baking tray and brush it with melted butter.
  • Spread the apple mixture evenly over the phyllo pastry while leaving some space at the edges.
  • Roll the pastry tightly but gently, starting from one edge, to form a log.
  • Seal the edges of the pastry and brush the top with any remaining melted butter.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
